FAQs

Use of Mobile Phone and Other Devices on NDORS Course

The use, by course attendees, of mobile phones or other devices not connected to the facilitation of attendance on a NDORS course is strictly prohibited (other than during scheduled breaks).

When the course starts phones/devices not being used for the course should be switched to ‘Do Not Disturb’, ‘Meeting’ or ‘Silent’ and stored out of sight.  The vibrate function should be turned off to minimise disruption.  This will include Smart Watches or other connected devices.

To protect everyone’s privacy, you must not take any screen shots, photographs or recordings of the course.  UKROEd actively monitor all social media channels and if a data breach is discovered this will be fully investigated.  This will lead to your course attendance being void and you will be referred back to the Police who will issue you with the penalty of three points and a fine.
The use of any device for recording or photographic purposes is prohibited at all times during any NDORS course.

Where a course attendee is seen to be actively using a device during a course they will be asked to leave and the matter will be passed back to the police.
