Simon Bourne
Non-Executive Director
Simon Bourne has over 30 years’ experience in digital and technology leadership roles in the UK, working across multiple sectors including banking, retail and government. He has been Chief Digital, Data and Technology Officer at the Home Office since 2021, leading one of the largest digital operations in the UK with accountabilities including migration and borders, passports, civil registration and national policing systems.
Prior to joining the Home Office Simon was Chief Information Officer for the Co-operative Group from 2014 to 2020. He previously held several senior technology roles in banking including as Application Development Core Services Director at Lloyds Banking Group.
Simon’s other non-executive roles include Director at Police Digital Services and previously being a Trustee for the Co-operative Academies Trust.
Simon holds a first class honours degree in Mathematics from the University of Cambridge.
